Rules & Policies
COVID-19 Precautions:
All members of the school are asked to wear masks in the common areas and to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet from one another. Masks are not required while on horseback. We are lucky to be an outdoor sport, so we have the benefit of freshly circulating air, but it is still important to follow precautions. Masks should cover the nose and mouth area fully and must be worn at the school barn and any other high traffic enclosed areas. All instructors have been vaccinated.
Cancellation / Make Up Policy:
Make up lessons will be offered based on instructor availability. They should be made up within one month of the missed lesson. Make ups will only be offered if the instructor is notified of the cancellation 24 hours BEFORE the lesson is missed. If notification is not given the lesson is forfeited. Please understand we do our best to accommodate many students.
Attire:
Helmets and closed toed shoes with a small heel must be worn at all times. Shirts should be tucked in and worn with long pants. We have a small selection of helmets and boots to borrow. Riding attire can be purchased at Dover Saddlery.
